Below the Deck

Below the deck is a rogue-like deck builder where you play against the strange captain of the ship.

In this project I:

  • Managed a team consisting of one other designer, one programmer and three artists over 6 months to make a game.

  • This was the first game that I made in Godot, so I had to learn a new game engine.

  • Made paper prototypes to rapidly test various game ideas as well as different card stats and effects.

  • Wrote and edited a game design document.

  • implemented art assets into the game.

  • Held playtesting sessions and recorded feedback from play testers.

  • Tested and balanced multiple cards and systems​.

Go Fish (With Legs)

Go Fish (with legs) is a chaotic 2 player party game where players compete against each other in mini-games to try to make pairs of cards

This game was made in Unreal Engine.

During this project I:

  • Worked together with a team consisting of one other designer three artists and three programmers to make a game in 4 months.

  • Worked with the other designer to create a Game Design Document​.

  • Created concepts and prototypes for mini-games.

  • Adjusted balancing of multiple scoring systems.

The Friendly Colossus

The Friendly colossus is a 2 player Co-op Puzzle Platformer where on player 1 plays as an archeologist and can run, jump and, player 2 play as the colossus who can use their fists as platforms for the archeologist to help each other reach new areas.

for this project I:

  • Worked together with 2 other designers to make a game based on a prompt from a client.

  • Designed the playable level.

  • Designed the background environments.

  • Used Blueprints to program the players and intractable elements.

Unnamed Dice Rogue-like prototype

This game is a dice themed rogue-like where you decide if your dice would be attacking or defending to try to defeat a monster that get stronger each time you defeat it, after beating each monster you get to go to the shop to spend your money to buy new dice.

This project was entirely made by me in Unreal Engine.
